Clark R. Ackley

Clark Russell Ackley was born in Lansing, Michigan, in 1911 to Fred and Edith Ackley.  He attended the University of Michigan and graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Architecture degree in 1932.  He was first employed as a draftsman for J. N. Churchill, and then the Warren S. Holmes firm in Lansing.  Ackely established his own firm, Clark R. Ackley, AIA, Architect, in 1936.  During the course of his career, Ackley won several awards for his designs.
